Only what location
testing actually needs.

Apple Maps search and routing, continuous point simulation, adjustable route speed, pause and resume, natural speed variation, cooldown guidance, and arrival notifications.

01

Apple Maps

Apple provides place results, coordinates, and route planning.

02

Continuous point

Maintain the selected coordinate until you tap again to stop.

03

Route control

Adjust speed from 1–100 km/h and resume from the paused position.

04

Natural variation

Optional smooth speed changes and gentle slowing near turns.

05

Cooldown guidance

An advisory timer based on distance and route time, never a forced lock.

06

Arrival notification

A local notification when a two-point route reaches its destination.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps to
start testing.

01

Prepare the device

Enable Developer Mode, load the pairing file created for your own device, and establish a compatible local tunnel.

02

Verify status

Continue when the app reports a normal connection and a securely loaded pairing file.

03

Choose a mode

Select one coordinate, or enter endpoints to obtain an Apple Maps route and adjust speed.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why can’t the app connect to 10.7.0.1:49152?

Confirm that a compatible external tunnel is active. Network changes may require reconnecting the tunnel and refreshing status in the app.

Why is the pairing file missing?

Each iPhone needs its own pairing file created on a trusted Mac. Never use someone else’s file or publish it.

Does simulation continue in the background?

Not guaranteed. iOS may suspend background apps, so keep CoordinateLab in the foreground.
