Thank you for using "Foodie Choice" (referred to as "the App" or "we"). We take your personal privacy and data security seriously. This policy explains transparently how your information is handled.
2. Data Collected
To provide restaurant search and recommendation services, we process the following upon your permission:
- Geographic Location: Device latitude and longitude when exploring nearby dining options.
- Favorites & Preferences: Your saved restaurant lists and filter settings.
- Device Info: Basic device model and OS version for debugging and layout rendering.
3. Location Handling
Your location data is only processed locally on your device to calculate nearby distances. We never record, track, or sell your movement history to third parties.
4. Real-time Voting Rooms
When you create or join a real-time room, candidates and vote choices are shared only among room participants. Session data is cleaned after room completion.
5. Security & Third Parties
The App utilizes Supabase cloud infrastructure and Apple Maps SDK. All communications are protected via TLS/SSL encryption.
